St. John's partners with
GriefShare
a network of thousands of grief recovery groups throughout the world. GriefShare
is a group process designed to help you
successfully travel the journey from mourning to joy. GriefShare compliments St.
John's mission so that grief recovery can be a healing experience where you Meet
Jesus, Experience the Support of the Church and Live anew as Disciples.
In each GriefShare session our
facilitators,
Marnie Smith and
Jean Durham guide the group through a video
presentation and discussion. Feel free to contact them for more information.
Both ladies have experienced the loss of a spouse and family members and can
share their insights.
The GriefShare videos feature
interviews with leading authors, counselors, speakers, and pastors with years of
expertise in grief recovery.
You are welcome to begin attending the GriefShare group at any session. Each
session is “self-contained,” so you do not have to attend in sequence. You will
find encouragement and help whenever you begin. The video link at the right
shares testimonials from GriefShare participants and how they have learned to
heal from grief.
